Winona to Chemically Treat Trees Against Emerald Ash Borer
The city of Winona will spend $80,000 to chemically treat and inoculate up to 4,000 of the city’s ash trees against the emerald ash borer. Earlier this week public works staff presented findings and recommendations on Pointer and TREE-age, insecticides that have been found effective in inoculating ash trees against the destructive ash borer making its way toward Winona.
