Preventing EAB in Lambertville, NJ

Lambertville, NJ. July 21, 2020: In an effort to preserve the country’s trees and urban forests, and to increase public awareness about Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), Arborjet Inc.a leader in plant health, will be treating nine, large ash trees in the center of town Tuesday.

The trees will be treated for EAB, a bright metallic green beetle that feeds and breeds primarily on ash trees. A native of Asia, the insect has killed millions of trees in the U.S. and Canada since its discovery, and is regarded as one of the most destructive forest pests in North America.

Arborjet will be working with Monster Tree Doylestown and asks interested applicators to join in this special treatment event. Arborjet staff and distributors will be on site to provide training with state of the art tree injection equipment. This is a valuable opportunity for those interested in learning more about the treatment of EAB, while receiving practical, hands-on experience!

This is part of Arborjet’s latest initiative, “Saving America’s Iconic Trees,” to ensure the health and longevity of the country’s trees. The campaign targets America’s most beloved trees, offering complimentary treatment to prevent insects, disease and poor health. Arborjet will be donating high-profile treatments and hosting educational events across the country. The company invites homeowners, state, city, town and municipal leaders to nominate iconic trees in their communities for potential recognition and treatment by visiting www.arborjet.com/saving-americas-iconic-trees.
