Dutch Elm Treatment Event

Arborjet Inc., an industry leader in plant health care and arboriculture will be working with Roanoke Parks and Recreation to help preserve their urban trees by treating for Dutch Elm Disease. Dutch Elm is a vascular wilt disease that causes rapid decline in infected trees in as few as six weeks after infection. The workshop will demonstrate the use of some of the leading Arborjet application equipment on five of the city’s mature American Elm trees, located in the central business district. Discussion and demonstration will begin at Elmwood Park in Downtown Roanoke (706 South Jefferson ST SW) and will conclude at Lee Plaza (215 Church Ave SW.) Arborjet is seeking customer support and interested applicators to join in this special treatment event. Arborjet staff and distributors will be on site to provide product: Propizol Fungicide for the tree injections and plenty of hands on training.
