Council OKs $460,000 to fight Emerald Ash Borer
Naperville City Council this week unanimously approved spending $467,436 to contain the damage from the Emerald Ash Borer, but not without some serious reservations. “If we are going to treat a tree, I want to do it right,” Councilman Paul Hinterlong said after questioning the treatments for some of the city’s 16,300 parkway ash trees.
