Arlington Heights Will Split Cost of Treating Parkway Ash Trees

Arlington Heights village officials agreed to split the cost of treating parkway ash trees, but likely just once once. The board agreed to fund a program that would reimburse residents up to $50 for treating their ash trees with the village’s preferred method, injection of Tree-Age, which costs about $100 per tree, depending on size. The village will pay for only one treatment and residents would have to continue treatment every two years after that.
