Arborjet Expands Organic Solutions with New, All-Purpose Eco-1™ Garden Spray

Arborjet Inc., a revolutionary plant health care company, today announced the expansion of its organic plant solutions line with its new Eco-1™ Garden Spray for total garden protection against insects, mites and diseases. Eco-1 Garden Spray will make its debut at Cultivate’17 – An AmericanHort Experience, July 16-18, 2017, at the Arborjet booth, #2203.

Eco-1 Garden Spray is a botanical blend of thyme and peppermint oils with flaxseed oil, creating a unique emulsion that offers up to 15 times more active ingredients for highly effective control. Other included ingredients help the oils mix with water and dissolve an insect’s exoskeleton for additional pest fighting power. Formulated with EPA Minimum Risk active ingredients allowed for use on food crops, Eco-1 is non-toxic to people and pets, and is ideal for organic growing – even on edibles that will be harvested the same day. It is also a vegan-friendly product with no animal byproducts included, a rare, yet sought after garden product quality for those with dietary restrictions.

“Our customers have expressed a need for an all-purpose product that meets their standards for quality, efficacy and safety,” said Kristin Nikodemski, Horticulture Marketing Manager, Arborjet. “We created Eco-1 to fulfill these needs using our formulation knowledge, plant healthcare experience and continuous industry research. It is not offered to box stores, ensuring retailers have a unique, effective product, and showcases a new label design that both stands out on the shelf and appeals to gardeners of all ages and abilities. It’s the perfect product for anyone interested in Grow Your Own (GYO™) gardening.”

Eco-1 can be used frequently against diseases and pests without risk of leaf scorching. It is effective against a wide range of soft-bodied insects and mites, such as aphids, mealybugs, psyllids, scales, thrips, two-spotted spider mites and whiteflies. The solution also prevents and controls various fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, black spot, early and late blight, scab, gray mold, rust, brown rots and leaf spot. As flaxseed oil is lighter than traditional oils used in gardening products, Eco-1 can be used to prevent these pests and diseases without clogging sprayers or leaving a thick residue on the treated plant.

The Eco-1 Garden Spray is available in three sizes: 32 fl. oz. ready-to-use, 8 fl. oz. concentrate (makes up to 2 gallons) and 32 fl. oz. concentrate (makes up to 8 gallons). These three sizes are also available in a display which includes ample messaging about the product and how to use it. For additional information, please contact Kristin Nikodemski at
