EAB Destroying Trees in Bucks County PA
Drew Slousky, ISA Certified Arborist and Arborjet Service Provider with Giroud Tree and Lawn, recently filmed Emerald Ash Borer damage in his area close-up.
Decline of Local Ash
The video focuses on views of exit wounds which are shown to be slightly longer than the tip of a pen. Other bleak indications of EAB devastation include peeling bark and the general decline of local Ash.
Swift Devastation or Trunk Injections?
Emerald Ash Borer were first identified in the Philadelphia area in 2012. The film was taken in Warrington PA near the original identification site. Mr. Slousky explains that Emerald Ash Borer are a 100% fatal pest and the best way to save trees is through trunk injections with TREE-äge.
