NutriRoot® Granular Improves Potato Growth and Complements Microbial Soil Amendments
Study Overview
A grow-bag trial evaluated the performance of NutriRoot® Granular (1 cup per 5-gallon soil), with and without microbial inoculants, on potato plant growth and tuber production. Treatments included NutriRoot® Granular, NutriRoot® Granular + microbial inoculants in loam soil, and an untreated potting soil control. Plant height and tuber yield were measured to assess treatment effects.
Results
Potatoes grown with NutriRoot® Granular showed strong improvements in plant growth and tuber production. When combined with microbial inoculants, the treatment maintained high yields and vigorous plant development, demonstrating how NutriRoot supports and complements beneficial soil microbes. Both NutriRoot treatments produced substantially higher tuber weights and taller plants, with the NutriRoot + microbial combination delivering robust growth and abundant potato formation. Visual harvest comparisons confirmed healthy plants and large tuber sets when NutriRoot was used as part of the soil program.
Conclusion
NutriRoot® Granular supports strong potato growth and yield while working effectively alongside beneficial microbial products. These results highlight NutriRoot’s role as a complementary tool in biologically driven crop programs, helping maximize the benefits of microbial soil amendments.
