Taking Root Scholarship Program
Helping students pursue their dreams in plant health care
The Arborjet Taking Root Scholarship Program is one of the ways Arborjet | Ecologel gives back to the community. Its goal is to help students pursue their dreams in the arboriculture industry, including forestry, horticulture, and plant sciences.
This scholarship program is aligned with Arborjet | Ecologel’s mission of promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable tree care practices and growing the arboriculture industry. By investing in these students, Arborjet | Ecologel helps support the continued growth of the industry.

Industry Sponsorships
Our industry sponsorships are another way we give back, and in this case, we do this by supporting the industry. Through these sponsorships, we help organizations provide educational and business support. Yes, we offer financial support, but it’s more than that. These industry sponsorships help create more engagement with their programs, such as webinars, tradeshows, other events, and more. They also help influence the industry to utilize the products and methodologies that are the most productive and safe.
Greencare for Troops
Arborjet | Ecologel is a proud sponsor of Project EverGreen’s GreenCare for Troops™ Program
Arborjet | Ecologel is proud to assist military personnel and their families through the Greencare for America’s Troops program. This initiative provides free tree and plant care to military families to help them maintain green and thriving landscapes while they serve our country on deployment.
Through this program, we provide complimentary Hydretain® products to help maintain the lawns and landscapes of deployed service members. This initiative not only keeps their homes looking beautiful but also helps reduce their water bills.
Once matched with a military family in need, volunteers will receive access to coupons for complimentary Hydretain products, allowing them to deliver top-notch care to the lawns and landscapes of those who serve our nation.

Saving America’s Iconic Trees
Our mission is to protect and restore trees that are valuable to communities across our nation.
At Arborjet | Ecologel, we know how important trees are for the environment. Trees take in carbon dioxide and let out oxygen for us to breathe. We plant trees to try to offset some of the damage urbanization has caused, but these planted trees benefit future generations. What about now?
Our answer to this problem is our Saving America’s Iconic Trees program. We have a mission of saving our older trees from devastating invasive insects and diseases as well as stressors such as compaction and drought. The loss of these trees would have a major impact to their local environments and deserve to be protected for future generations.
In this program, people request our help identifying treatment-worthy trees. We use our knowledge, expertise, and products to give these older trees thriving lives. We’ll travel throughout the United States to work on trees we know can be saved and that have a positive impact to our environment. We’ve treated tree in Buffalo NY, to Naples FL, TX, CO, CA, MI, and more, and we will travel to you, as well, if you have a tree worth saving.
