New England Regional Technical Manager
We are seeking a sales candidate to live and work in New England with responsibility for this territory and eastern New York. The primary objective for this position is to identify and secure business in the region. You would call on existing accounts and prospect new accounts including Distributors, Municipalities, Landscape Companies, Arborists, Universities and others that could benefit from the use of our products. This is a salaried, technical sales position.
We seek a team player with Plant Health Care sales experience and the ability to present in front of large and small technical groups. Sales experience in the green industry is a necessity and a BS degree in a related field is desired. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of success with green-industry technical sales, and a passion for eco-friendly solutions. Candidate will be expected to be proficient in the use of portable computer technologies including the use of a CRM software for tracking sales and customer activity. The candidate will be asked to pass the ISA test to become a “certified arborist” within a year of hire.
This position requires flexibility, varying hours, and will include occasional trips to other geographic areas as business demands dictate. You should anticipate some overnight travel.

We are in need of a full time Plant Pathologist, who will work for the Director of Research and is responsible for the study of Arborjet formulations, and their efficacy against plant diseases as well as their insect vectors and predisposing stressors. These activities include laboratory, greenhouse and field trials. In addition, the Plant Pathologist is responsible for establishing cooperative research partnerships with Universities as well as private entities. Travel to establish field studies, is required. Publishing and speaking at technical events and conferences are expected as well.
The ideal candidate will have an M.S. or PHD in plant pathology and/or entomology. The Plant Pathologist must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and have the ability to present in a succinct manner. We are looking for a production supervisor to oversee our production operations. Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the production supervisor manages the day-to-day production activities of 2-5 employees in accordance with company policy, and product quality standards. The supervisor also identifies material needs and places the appropriate purchase orders timely while balancing overall inventory costs. This individual is expected to utilize labor hours efficiently and minimize non-value added activity. The supervisor would be responsible to identify and resolve production related problems by working closely with direct labor work force and support personnel.
Principal Duties and Requirements:
- Leads by example.
- Work with the plant manager to ensure adequate staffing and that direction and disciplines are in place on a day-to-day basis.
- Establish an atmosphere where continuous improvement is the goal.
- Provide for the proper training, supervision motivation of employees
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in interacting with suppliers and cross-functional departments. (Management, R&D, Marketing, Engineering)
- Assure Purchase Orders for manufacturing and shop related items are completed and arrive timely.
- Assist in production and shipping/receiving activities as needed
- Address personal issues that affect the work environment in an adverse manner.
- Must be capable of being trained to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to lift 55 pound boxes
- Solid computer skills are required.
- A Bachelor Degree or equivalent is desired with some supervisory experience
