Pine Coneworm Damage – 1999 & 2000 2 year assessments
TREE-äge treatments consistently reduced cone damage and mortality from coneworms 70-95% in slash pine and loblolly pine orchards for two years compared to untreated trees. It was effective against pine seed bugs during the first year after injection, reducing damage by 3 – 37% compared to untreated trees. Download

Trunk injections of TREE-äge provided exceptional protection from Western Pine Bark Beetles in a 2010 study. This is the first demonstration of the successful application of a systemic insecticide for protecting individual conifers from mortality due to Western Pine Bark Beetle attack in the western United States.
